  • DAY 1: FEZ TO MERZOUGA DESERT CAMP

Our journey commences with a pick-up from your hotel in Fez, marking the beginning of our unforgettable desert adventure. We head towards the Middle Atlas region, where the picturesque Berber village of Azrou awaits amidst the stunning Cedar forest. Here, you may have the opportunity to observe the native Barbary apes in their natural habitat. Continuing our drive, we traverse through the mineral city of Midelt before descending into the enchanting Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and breathtaking scenery.

As we approach Erfoud and Rissani, the gateway to the Sahara Desert, anticipation builds for our desert exploration. Upon reaching Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara, we embark on an afternoon excursion into the desert. Experience the thrill of a camel ride as we journey through the golden sands of the Erg Chebbi dunes to reach our desert camp. As the sun begins to set, revel in the mesmerizing hues painting the desert sky before indulging in a sumptuous Berber dinner at the camp.   • DAY 2: MERZOUGA TO FEZ VIA MIDELT

Awake to the serene beauty of the desert as the first rays of dawn illuminate the vast expanse of the Sahara. After breakfast, we bid farewell to the desert camp and begin our journey back to Fez. Traverse through the charming town of Rissani and the lush Tafilalt palm grove, where endless rows of towering palm trees create a captivating sight.

 

Continuing our drive, we ascend towards Midelt, a picturesque town nestled amidst the majestic Atlas Mountains. Marvel at the breathtaking vistas as we wind our way through the mountainous terrain. Finally, we arrive back in Fez, where we bid you farewell and transfer you to your hotel, marking the conclusion of our memorable desert adventure.
